ASSEMBLING THE BLASTER
The E-11 Blastech is the Imperial issued weapon of the Stormtrooper. There are many modifications that have been made to the weapon during its use. One such modification is the E-11 Blastech 22A. The following describes the process of how the blaster was deigned to the 22A specifications. The base weapon was removed from the container. The Imperial insignias are carefully removed and stored. The orange protective cover used in shipping was then vibro-cut off the end of the barrel. Then the weapon was disassembled. The protective inner cover was removed exposing the vented barrel. The beam emmiter was moved back to behind the vented barrel and a focusing lens was added. Here you can see the focusing lens outside of the disassembled weapon. The weapon is then reassembled.
The basic weapon was supplied by Kenner Manufacturing-Weapons Division. Shown here in its shipping container.

The process continues with applying a blast protective base coat [note: Imperial Weapons Division classifed document WD4487-29A2.4C] over the entire weapon.
The next step applies a finishing coat over the protective coating. This coat hides the reflective properties of the protective coat removing the visual obstitacle that it created to the weapon user. The finishing coat is applied in two stages for effective covering.

The weapon is then taken to the testing lab where it is ensured the weapon passes all of the Imperial required tests.
Stormtrooper test handling and firing of the finished weapon is the final step before it is issued.
