REVELATIONS LUCKSTONE QUARRY
Star Wars Fan Film Revelations began filming October 19th, 2002 at the Luckstone Quarry in Centerville, VA. The quarry is the setting for the Imperial Prison. Thirteen Stormtroopers, a couple of Biker Scouts and Imperial Officers joined the cast of Revelations to help be a part of the film. Many extras doned the garb of minors filling out the much needed prisoner detail. The day remained cold and overcast which was a perfect backdrop for the filming. Twice towards the end of the day, the sun poked through the clouds and the filming was halted. But the cloud cover returned and filming went on. Stormtroopers rushed a lightsaber wielding Jedi, guarded prisoners and escorted prisoners, and stood in formation as Dark Jedi entered the scene. Officers made and took orders, while prisoners milled about their prison duties. The Revelations cast took up their roles as Jedi and Dark Jedi alike. The crew did a fantastic job capturing the proper camera angles. And Matthew Henry of Garrison Tyranus filled in to help out with make up application. I must make note that Meghan came over to the Empire and donned Stormtrooper armor for the first time. You should see when she tries to lay down in armor.
